1. What this app is

Life Tunnel ("the App") is a browser-based, interactive 3D visualization that lets a user travel through a timeline of photos, videos, and music, either using the bundled demo life ("Mateo's life") or a life the user creates by uploading their own media.

2. Local-only processing of your media

Your media is processed entirely client-side. Photos, videos, and audio you add are handled in your browser only and are never uploaded to, or stored on, any server operated by us. The only server-side component of the App is payment processing for the paid export (see section 5); it never receives your media. See PRIVACY.md for the technical detail. This means:

you upload into the App.

3. Your responsibility for content you upload

By uploading any photo, video, or audio file into the App, you represent and warrant that:

to use it in this way, including the consent of any identifiable person depicted (and, where applicable, the consent of a parent/guardian for any minor depicted);

trademark, privacy, or publicity rights, and does not violate any law; and

to use.

Because the App does not transmit your content anywhere, we have no ability to review, remove, or take responsibility for what you load into it. You are solely responsible for your own uploads.

4. Bundled demo content

The App ships with a default demo dataset (illustrated life-story images and instrumental music tracks) depicting a fictional person. This content is provided as-is for demonstration purposes. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md for its licensing status, including open items pending counsel review.

5. Purchases, delivery, and refunds

Using the App — building your tunnel, uploading media, and exporting a video with a small "Made with Life Tunnel" watermark — is free. Exporting without the watermark is a paid, one-time purchase with two tiers (prices shown at checkout, in USD):

screen and a vertical (9:16) format option.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on Stripe's own checkout pages; we never receive or store your card number or billing credentials (see PRIVACY.md). A completed purchase unlocks exporting on the device and browser where you bought it, for 7 days, so you can adjust your tunnel and re-export as many times as you like within that window. The unlock is delivered immediately after payment: this is digital content supplied instantly at your request.

Immediate access, and what it means for withdrawal rights. The unlock is delivered the moment your payment is confirmed — that immediacy is what you are buying. By completing checkout you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content straight away, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation that would otherwise apply to a distance sale of digital content — including the 14-day right under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and, in the United Kingdom, regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. That request and acknowledgement are presented to you at checkout before payment, and Stripe's receipt email serves as your confirmation of the agreement on a durable medium.

Refunds. If the paid export does not work on your device (for example, your browser cannot record video), write to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase with your Stripe receipt and we will refund you in full. Beyond that, and to the extent permitted by law, refunds are not owed once a watermark-free video has been successfully exported — but if something disappointed you, write to us anyway and we will try to make it right.

Nothing above limits your rights where the content is faulty, not as described, or does not work as it should. Those rights cannot be waived and are unaffected by the acknowledgement in this section.

The unlock is stored in your browser, not in an account. Clearing your browser data before the 7 days end removes it; if that happens, contact support with your receipt and we will help you restore it.

6. No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. To the maximum extent permitted by law, m8apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. (Counsel should finalize the limitation-of-liability language for the chosen jurisdiction and business structure.)

7. Intellectual property

The App and its original code, design, and branding are proprietary to m8apps and are provided under the terms of the LICENSE file in this repository. Bundled third-party components keep their own licenses, as documented in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. You are granted no rights in the App's code, name, or branding except the right to use the App as intended.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continuing to use the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law / contact

These Terms are operated by m8apps (mefit.app).

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the App, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes, and both you and we consent to venue there.

This choice of law does not remove any consumer-protection right that the mandatory law of your own country of residence gives you. Where such a right cannot be contracted away, it continues to apply alongside these Terms.
